About

A patient guide through the parts of math that scare people.

I'm a passionate mathematics educator with more than six years of experience helping students across the USA, the UK, India, the UAE and Australia truly understand and enjoy the subject. Every student arrives with a different relationship to math — some curious, many anxious — and my work starts by meeting them exactly where they are.

Beyond the classroom, I have led teams as an educator manager and trainer, supporting other teachers in their professional growth: onboarding, lesson observation, feedback and curriculum guidance.

With a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Gokhale Memorial Girls' College and a B.Ed. from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, I combine deep academic grounding with a personal touch. My belief is simple: there is no such thing as a student who "can't do math" — only one who hasn't yet been shown the right way in.

Away from the whiteboard I'm a dancer and a parent to three dogs. Between them they cover rhythm, patience, and the art of repeating yourself a fourth time without losing your temper — which is most of what teaching turns out to be.

Every problem is a puzzle with a way in. My job is to help you find it — and then find the next one on your own.

What I teach

Curricula, exams and everything underneath.

SAT Mathematics

Full preparation for the SAT math sections — concept revision, timing strategy, question-pattern recognition and steady practice under real test conditions.

IGCSE Mathematics

Core and Extended IGCSE syllabus coverage, from algebra and geometry through to trigonometry, functions and statistics, with past-paper drilling before exams.

School Mathematics

Middle and high school math aligned to whichever board a student follows, keeping classwork, homework and assessments on track through the year.

Foundations & Confidence

Targeted work for students with gaps from earlier years — rebuilding arithmetic, fractions and algebraic reasoning so later topics stop feeling impossible.

Exam Technique

How to read a question, budget time, show working that earns marks, and stay calm when a paper opens with something unfamiliar.

Teacher Training

Mentoring and professional development for fellow educators — lesson planning, classroom delivery, student engagement and constructive feedback cycles.
